Effective October 31, 2026. This policy explains what information Posting Hub collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Posting Hub (“Posting Hub”, “we”, “us”) provides a social publishing service at clientpostinghub.com that plans, writes and publishes posts for local businesses on accounts those businesses own. Posting Hub is operated by Your Marketing Company. Marketing agencies may use Posting Hub to manage posting for their business clients; in that case the agency’s name may appear on the pages its clients use. This policy covers everyone who uses Posting Hub: business owners who connect accounts (“Businesses”), agencies, and visitors to our website.
When a Business presses Connect and approves access on a platform’s own site, that platform gives us an access token and basic account details (see section 3). We never receive or store passwords.
We request only the access needed to publish the Business’s posts, and use it only for that purpose.
| Platform | What we receive | What we use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Access token and refresh token; the account’s username; the account’s own boards | Creating Pins and a board for the Business; showing which account is connected | |
| Facebook & Instagram | Access tokens for the Pages the owner chooses; Page name and ID; linked Instagram business account ID | Publishing photo posts and videos to that Page and image posts to Instagram |
| Access token; the company pages the owner administers | Publishing posts to that company page | |
| TikTok | Access token; open ID and display name; allowed privacy options | Publishing photo posts to that account |
| X | Access token; username | Publishing posts (optional add-on) |
| GitHub | Access token; username | Publishing Gists |
| Ghost | The Admin API key and blog address the owner provides | Publishing articles to that blog |
| YouTube | No token — the owner invites our manager account to the channel | Publishing videos and community posts as a channel manager |
We do not read, collect or store personal profiles, friends or follower lists, messages, or other users’ content, and we do not follow, like, comment, save, or send messages on anyone’s behalf.
When a Business connects Pinterest, we use Pinterest’s official API only to: (a) find or create one board named after the Business on that Business’s own account; (b) create a few Pins per month on that board, each with the Business’s image, a title and description about its services, and a link to the Business’s website; and (c) show which Pinterest account is connected. We do not access other Pinners’ data, do not use Pinterest data for advertising or to build profiles, and do not sell or share Pinterest data. Pinterest data is deleted when the Business disconnects or asks us to delete it. Our use of Pinterest data follows Pinterest’s Developer Guidelines.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use platform data for any purpose other than publishing the Business’s own posts.
We never sell or rent personal information or platform data.
Access tokens are encrypted before they are stored (RSA-OAEP and AES-GCM) and can only be decrypted by our publishing service. All traffic uses HTTPS. Access to systems is limited to people who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of any breach as required by law.
Posting Hub is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell Businesses about significant changes.
